Cheeky Monkey Media calls Kelowna, British Columbia home. Surrounded by mountains, trails, and lakes, it’s the kind of place that teaches you to stay curious, read the terrain, and find a clearer path when things get complicated.
That mindset shaped our founding belief: Organizations deserve more than a one-and-done website project. Websites need care, strategy, technical expertise, and ongoing improvement to keep serving the people who depend on them.
We may have started as a website development agency (with deep Drupal and WordPress experience), but over time, we saw our clients needed more. Our technical foundation still shapes how we work, but now we’re a digital partner that organizations can lean on to build websites and marketing plans that work.
The monkey part fits too. We admire monkeys for their curiosity, adaptability, social instincts, and ability to navigate complex environments. We bring that same curiosity and practical teamwork to every project.

Adopt-a-Monkey Initiative
The monkey part of our name isn’t just for fun.
In honour of Earth Day, Cheeky Monkey Media launched our Adopt-a-Primate Initiative. Since 2021, every eligible client site launch valued at $10,000+ has helped us support primate rescue. Together with our client, we become a primate guardian or co-guardian through a reputable nonprofit rescue sanctuary.
It’s a small way to connect our digital work to something bigger: supporting organizations that protect primates, educate the public about the cruel primate trade, and care for animals who have been displaced by private ownership, research, entertainment, or captivity.
